A new project developed by the BEN network, called "Creative Across Borders" (CAB), has been submitted on the 31th of March to the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013. The main objective of the project is to increase the capacity of border regions in the Baltic Sea Region in development of innovativeness of creative industries for social-economic growth of their territories, especially focusing on possibilities to enhance the growth of tourism industry. The project includes 17 partners from the whole Baltic Sea Region, representing Pan-Baltic organizations, border regions, cross-border structures, organizations of creative industries, non-governmental organizations etc., and the lead partner of the project is a Finnish development company Lappeenranta Innovation Ltd.
