Additional WP1 seminar “Northern Dimension: from policy paper to concrete actions"
On 25-26 January the BEN project arranged a seminar “Northern Dimension: from policy paper to concrete actions. Role of Euroregions and other CBC structures in the implementation of the Northern Dimension policy” in
Lappeenranta . Seminar was organized by the City of Lappeenranta and the BEN project. The main goal of the seminar was to discuss the new Northern Dimension Policy Framework Document adopted at the end of the last year, and assess how Euroregions or other cross-border cooperation structures can contribute to the implementation of this policy in coming years. About 70 representatives of BEN project partners and experts of the ND policy participated in the seminar. Baltic Sea
States , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Council of Federation of Russia etc.
